AIM-PROGRESS is pleased to announce that the latest update of our audited supplier list now contains 27,000 records for perusal by member companies to potentially avoid requesting duplicate audits of their suppliers.
Members are making good use of this opportunity: our last benchmarking survey showed that the mutual recognition rate for audits is 33%. We are aiming to raise the bar for this.
Mutual recognition can also be extended to other type of supplier assessments; we're collaborating with EcoVadis to enable visibility of suppliers who have been assessed by a group of seven of our joint members. This list was recently updated and contains over 5,000 records.
During 2020 our Mutual Recognition work stream will be looking at how to expand our efforts to cover additional types of supplier evaluation tools.
