AIM-PROGRESS Releases Good Practice Guidance on Business Integrity

As an extension of the work carried out on integrating Business Integrity elements into supplier codes AIM-PROGRESS, together with i2a has released guidance on how to assure that suppliers are effectively implementing Business Integrity requirements. The new report incorporates examples of best practice from different industry sectors but with a particular focus on the FMCG sector. The review also includes key pieces of legislation (e.g. UK Bribery Act and US Foriegn Corrupt Practices Act) and external standards (including Transparency International and United Nations Global Compact).

 

The report found that all AIM-PROGRESS members have at least minimum processes relating to Business Integrity in place but these could benefit from further enhancements such as:
