AIM-PROGRESS releases results of second annual benchmarking report

AIM-PROGRESS has released the results of the second annual benchmarking report which is available to all member companies. The report builds on the findings of the 2011 report and has again identified a strong commitment to responsible sourcing.

The majority of AIM-PROGRESS members have launched their programme and are continuing to build scale and scope. Over the next 12 months over half of companies plan to expand the scope of the supply chain tiers that they audit and will increase the number of audits being conducted.

The report shows evidence that companies are developing and promoting the use of common evaluation methods such as the use of third party auditors, supplier payment of audits and pre-authorization processes to determine CSR performance in the supply chain.

Responsible sourcing has reached a level of maturity within member companies, highlighted by the seniority of those responsible for programs and the level of integration into business processes.

If you would like more information on the report, an executive summary is available to download.
