What is our objective?
Environment is one of the four pillars of responsible sourcing. AIM-PROGRESS seeks to improve members' capability to incorporate environmental aspects into their sourcing strategies and engage their suppliers/value chain in the scoping, mesuring and reporting of key environmental impacts in order to inform their individual RS/sustainability programs and to address stakeholder concerns.
Why is it important?
All AIM-PROGRESS members have environmental policies and targets. These apply to their own operations but also need to be implemented throughout the supply chain, through responsible sourcing.
What are we doing?
Key impact areas in focus are:
AIM-PROGRESS will support existing initiatives, such as the Consumer Goods Forum, CDP, SAI Platform, Sedex, EcoVadis, etc.
