Launch webinar – Introducing the Converged Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence Assessment Tool

Empowering industries to strengthen HREDD practices

AIM-Progress and the Consumer Goods Forum are excited to share the Converged Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) Assessment Tool.

This open-source tool was developed in collaboration with the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and Proforest to converge assessment approaches to HREDD. It allows companies to:

  • Self-assess HREDD systems in your operations and supply chains
  • Engage suppliers in identifying and addressing potential risks
  • Streamline due diligence processes, aligned with OECD and UNGP standards

Created through extensive member collaboration and built on feedback from buyers and suppliers, this tool fosters global alignment while reducing reporting burden

We held a launch webinar on Monday 2 December 2024 to explore the development journey, hear insights from organisations and companies that have co-created and piloted the tool and learn how it fits into the HREDD strategies of leading businesses.

Speakers were:

  • Louise Herring, Executive Director, AIM-Progress
  • Maria Isabel Cubides, Senior Manager Sustainability – Human Rights Coalition, The Consumer Goods Forum
  • Richa Mittal, Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer, Fair Labor Association
  • Rebecca White, Principal Project Manager, Proforest
  • Alain Nguyen, Global Responsible Sourcing Lead, Nestlé
  • Virginie Mahin, Senior Director Global Social Sustainability & Stakeholder Engagement, Mondelēz International, Inc.
