After 10 years of existence AIM-PROGRESS’ is conducting a major strategy review. The focus of our activities moving forward will be on labour conditions and human rights, whilst maintaining a four-pillar approach, including environment and business integrity, to supply chain compliance and improvement. We intend to broaden our membership, which has so far consisted mainly of US and Europe-based companies and people, to cover a more diverse geography. A more comprehensive and systemic approach to supplier capability building and training is also on our agenda, as well as improved measurement of our impact. The new strategic emphasis will imply a re-organization of the AIM-PROGRESS structure and way of working. The plan is to implement the new strategy in 2020.
