Capability Building - Tackling forced labor in Dubai

The Dubai supplier event on 23 March gathered short of 200 suppliers. It was co-sponsored by Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Mars, Unilever and RB.

 

The focus was on forced labor and recruitment/management of migrant workers, showcasing an overview of the issue encountered in the UAE and best practice on how to tackle them. The aim was to shift the supplier mindset from anticipation to engagement, with three contributing supplier testimonials.

 

Feeback was very positive with an average of 4/5 rating from attendees. Two further supplier capability building events are planned for India and Malaysia later this year.
