AIM-PROGRESS enables members to share their audited suppliers so they can mutually recognise audits and thereby avoid audit fatigue at supplier level. Since 2010 the list of available audited suppliers from whom members can request to see an audit for potential mutual recognition has increased steadily, now reaching close to 21,000. Given the commonality of our members' supply chains, this is a huge opportunity to save on costs, efforts and resources.
We are currently investigating with the help of a third party which other responsible sourcing/ supplier assessment tools can be mutually recognised, thereby driving convergence of brand requirements in the FMCG supply chain.
