On 17 November 2015, Coca-Cola, Ferrero and Orkla hosted an AIM-PROGRESS Responsible Sourcing supplier workshop in Turkey to promote responsible sourcing standards in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) supply chains.

40+ suppliers came together for interactive sessions on freedom of association and overtime management issues, as well as migrant and contract labour management, which are of particular interest in Turkey.

The very topical subject of conditions of seasonal employment in Turkey was highlighted through a photography project which provided first-hand visual insight.

Feedback from the meeting was very positive. Participants were happy to attend and the workshop sessions were very interactive. The sessions on regulation and the AIM-PROGRESS hosts' case studies were highlighted as what attendees enjoyed most of the day.

The Turkey event concludes the 2015 supplier event series which were hosted in Mexico, Shanghai and North America (webinar). The 2016 series for supplier events are currently being organised.
