As part of our future strategy, we are seeking to expand the remit of our mutual recognition activities to alignment/convergence, sharing, benchmarking, or simply mapping. We believe the responsible sourcing community has much to gain from having a more common way of working, and we are supportive of any initiative enabling comparison of existing practices, tools and standards. In this context, the Consumer Goods Forum’s Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative (SSCI) is to be commended for enabling benchmarking and recognition of sustainability standards. So are the efforts of the Social & Labour Convergence Project (SLCP) to converge various assessment frameworks.
