Assuring supplier compliance with the law and companies' responsible sourcing requirements is often a diffcult task for members of AIM-PROGRESS. Carrying out audits may give a picture of the situation and identify shortcomings but it will not address root causes of non-compliance, nor will it help suppliers on the right path. AIM-PROGRESS members can now benefit from a collection of best practice guidance to address the wider picture of non-compliance, put together by the Mutual Recognition work stream. The "top tips" have been arranged to reflect the maturity path towards responsible sourcing - from program launch to full scale implementation.
