New Responsible Sourcing Journey released

AIM-PROGRESS is pleased to report the release of its new Responsible Sourcing Journey (RSJ) - a blueprint  describing the maturity evolution of a company’s responsible sourcing programm across four maturity levels: launched, established, integrated, leadership. Companies can benchmark their maturity across four modules of activities which make up a responsible sourcing programme: setting the tone, implementing due diligence, monitoring and reporting progress and stakeholder engagement.

The RSJ is designed to help companies map at which stage they are in their programme evolution and points them towards the next stage. Members have access to the RSJ Self-Assessment, an automated excel spreadsheet which takes them through all modules of activity based on a simple check-box exercise to determine their level of maturity, delivering simple dashboard graphs they can share with their teams and senior management.

The RSJ now integrates the United Nation’s Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), which provide the baseline expectations for integrating Human Rights into corporate responsible sourcing approaches, as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are being used by companies to set their own commitments and targets.
