More than 100 suppliers attended the AIM-PROGRESS Capacity Building Webinar for Suppliers on the 19 May 2015, hosted by AIM-PROGRESS member companies Colgate-Palmolive, Givaudan, IFF, Mars and PepsiCo.
Petra Tanos, Global Sustainability Project Manager at IFF, talked about the responsible sourcing landscape and various organisations and initiatives working in the field. Pascal Becker, Global Sustainability Manager at Givaudan, explained the role of AIM-PROGRESS and the importance of responsible sourcing. Brian Kramer, Global Sustainability Director at PepsiCo, focused on the audit process. David Spitzley, Global Responsible Sourcing Manager at Mars, further built on most common audit findings in North America and globally, while Ronald Jacoby, Global Procurement Strategy & Training Manager at Colgate-Palmolive shared best practices on emergency planning and fire safety.
