Overview

The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is a leading alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs that promotes respect for workers' rights around the globe. It aims at improving working conditions in global supply chains by developing effective approaches to implementing the ETI Base Code on labour practice.

ETI's corporate members agree to adopt the ETI Base Code, which is based on conventions of the International Labour Organization.
