Overview

This toolkit is a digitial website that links 7 perspectives: brands, suppliers, governments, advocates, investors, auditors, and multi-stakeholders. It offers tools, guidance and approches to support the responsible recruitment and hiring of migrant workers in global supply chains. It's supported by a main report published in 6 languages.

Activities / Outputs / Results

For brands, the sections include:

  • Improving codes of conduct and company policies

  • Raising awareness and building capacity

  • Strengthening assessments and social audits

  • Taking corrective action & developing systems improvement plans

  • Reporting & transparency

  • Multi-stakeholders and multi-brand engagement

  • Public policy advocacy.

For suppliers, the sections include:

  • Improving codes of conduct and company policies

  • Raising awareness and building capacity

  • Screening and evaluating labor recruiters

  • Managing labor recruiters and monitoring for ethical recruitment and hiring

  • Ensuring good practice in human resources management

  • Establishing effective GMs and protection of whistle blowers
