Overview

The RLI is a multi-industry, multi-stakeholder initiative focused on accelerating the transformation of recruitment markets, reducing the risk of forced labor and ensuring the rights and dignity of workers vulnerable to forced labor in global supply chains are consistently respected and promoted.

  • Capacity building for ethical recruiters

  • Develop public education and resources on forced labor and ethical sourcing

  • Implement ELEVATE’s Laborlink Forced Labour Index Survey and Recruitment Survey to capture thousands of new data points from workers

  • Scale a labor agency maturity system to create a network of business partners that meet international expectations for ethical recruitment

  • Solution development by educating migrant workers on their individual and collective rights through the rollout of a customized education curriculum aimed at knowledge sharing and skills training

  • RBA practical guide to due diligence on recruitment fees in international supply chains

It provides a set of tools like the Supplemental Validated Audit Process (SVAP) on Forced Labour , they are based on and adapted from tried and tested RBA tools.
