AIM-PROGRESS and GSCP dialogue to strengthen cooperation

The Global Social Compliance Program (GSCP) of the Consumer Goods Forum and AIM-PROGRESS are both global initiatives, and are seeking to enhance their cooperation in areas of common interest. GSCP will be present at the next AIM-PROGRESS meeting in Pilsen at the end of October; as will AIM-PROGRESS at the next GSCP General Assembly in San Francisco, early November, represented by our chairman, David Lawrence. AIM-PROGRESS members are also invited to join GSCP supplier capacity building events, which is a great opportunity to reach out to a broad community of suppliers and customers, in addition to the specific AIM-PROGRESS Supplier Capability seminars. Other areas of common interest for both organisations currently are mutual recognition of audit and standards, interoperability of data systems and auditor quality and competency.
