AIM-PROGRESS and ITC launch the Mutual Recognition Protocol Benchmarking Tool

The Mutual Recognition work stream is delighted to announce the launch of the AIM-PROGRESS Protocol Benchmarking Tool. ITC has been working with AIM-PROGRESS since October 2011 to develop a customized offline Benchmarking Tool to better facilitate the process of Mutual Recognition between AIM-PROGRESS members. The Benchmarking Tool allows AIM-PROGRESS members to compare their audit protocols and help them determine whether an audit done on behalf of another member meets their own requirements or not. It is also hoped that the Benchmarking Tool will drive transparency and promote trust in responsible sourcing globally. The tool will also help the Mutual Recognition work stream step up harmonisation of audit requirements between members.

The Tool is available for member companies to download from the Mutual Recognition page in the members’ area of the website.
