Over the last quarter AIM-PROGRESS has delivered two further supplier events in Lagos, Nigeria and Singapore.
The event in Lagos, sponsored by Diageo, took place on the 16 October 2012 and was attended by over 120 delegates. The event promoted responsible sourcing standards in West Africa and gave examples of best practice guidance from fellow suppliers. Speakers included the Managing Director of Guinness Nigeria and other senior business leaders.
In November AIM-PROGRESS held the first supplier capability event in Singapore; the event was sponsored by Givaudan and The Hershey Company. Over 110 delegates attended, representing suppliers from all over Asia. In addition to learning about responsible sourcing standards, suppliers were able to hear from an expert panel on how to implement a responsible sourcing programme.
