AIM-PROGRESS’ mission is to make a positive impact on people’s lives. But how can we measure whether this is actually the case? The Impact measurement work stream of AIM-PROGRESS has teamed up with Sedex and Impactt Ltd to identify relevant key performance indicators and data sources. To date 16 KPIs have been identified covering whether workers feel safe, respected and satisfied with pay and career opportunities.
The project is now going into pilot phase to test the indicators, identify the best sources of data and design a scoring mechanism. AIM-PROGRESS has reached out to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) who are working on the broader topic of social impact indicators, with a view to ensure alignment.
