Building capability to execute robust responsible sourcing programs is one of the key strategies of AIM-PROGRESS. The dedicated work stream is now led by Mattis Sydhagen from Orkla, taking over from Pascal Becker of Givaudan. The work stream now combines both member and supplier capability development. To reflect this change, the Supplier Capability Work Stream has been renamed to Capability Building Work Stream.
In addition to this rebranding, AIM-PROGRESS has developed the responsible sourcing capability continuum – a five-step roadmap which allows companies to self-assess their maturity, to guide both members and suppliers along the responsible sourcing journey. This roadmap is the starting point for an ambitious program of developing a comprehensive set of easy to use resources for members and suppliers, including the continuation of supplier events where there is common interest.
