Webinar

Launch webinar for learning paper on worker-led grievance mechanisms, developed jointly by AIM-Progress, ETI and Oxfam

Most suppliers already have grievance channels, yet many go unused. So what makes a grievance mechanism work for the people it is meant to serve?

Join AIM-Progress, Oxfam and the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) as we share the learnings drawn nine projects with brands and suppliers, and provide practical guidance on a worker-led approach to grievance mechanisms.

Programme

  • Welcome and background to the initiatives
  • The business perspective: why effective grievance mechanisms matter
  • Why workers don’t speak up: the barriers behind the numbers
  • Practical lessons: worker participation, the role of buyers and monitoring what matters
  • From a mechanism to an ecosystem: shared responsibility for access to remedy
  • Discussion and Q&A

Presenters include Monica Romis, Sara Petersson (ETI), Caroline Brodeur (Oxfam) and Yael Fattal Lariccia (AIM-Progress).

Time/Date: Wednesday, November 4, 15:00 PM CET (14:00 GMT) for 1 hour
