The first stage of our environmental activities revolved around gathering & sharing insights on members’ sustainability commitments and the GSCP environmental reference module. The ambition for the next stage of our environmental pillar work stream has been stepped up and will be about supporting the AIM-PROGRESS membership in the effective engagement of their suppliers/value chain in the scoping, data gathering, measuring and reporting of key environmental impacts in order to inform their individual RS/sustainability programs and to address external stakeholder concerns (GHG emissions, deforestation, refrigerants, water, waste). The project will aim to provide guidance on policy, existing tools and mechanisms, as well as effective supplier engagement protocols.
