Subsequently a new work stream was initiated at the March meeting in Washington to respond to this challenge and to prepare guidance for members on how to integrate these elements in their supplier codes and ethical audit protocols. For members of SEDEX it will be important to update SMETA, based on the AIM-PROGRESS recommendations. The work stream is led by Procter & Gamble, under the sponsorship of Unilever from the Leadership Team.
