The AIM-Progress Africa hub organised an event in Nairobi, Kenya as an opportunity for members and suppliers of AIM-Progress to connect, discuss, and share learnings on selected topics to drive responsible sourcing practices and local onwership in Kenya.
The AIM-Progress Kenya supplier event was kindly sponsored by Unilever, Diageo and The Coca Cola Company and was facilitated by Partner Africa with the intervention of various expert speakers.
The event catered to different supplier maturity levels, through the inclusion of various interactive breakout sessions and relevant case studies. This year’s sessions included topics such as gender and sexual harassment, grievance mechanism, casualisation of workers, regenerative agriculture as well as challenges and opportunities in increasing HRDD requirements and more generally challenges and opportunities in increasing HRDD requirements.
