Launching our updated 2026 Responsible Sourcing Journey

13 Oct 2026

AIM-Progress is pleased to publish the latest iteration of its Responsible Sourcing Journey, our blueprint for a robust responsible sourcing programme incorporating human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) as its backbone.

The 2026 update is a light-touch review, focused primarily on clarifying wording and guidance around criteria and strengthening the requirements around the module on Responsible Buying. For our member companies using the RSJ self-assessment, the alignment with the Converged HREDD assessment tool has been developed further, with a new function to import HREDD responses into their RSJ assessment.

The RSJ guide is publicly available because we believe the key foundations and steps of responsible sourcing are similar across sectors.

The self-assessment tool, which allows companies to check their status on the maturity journey, identify gaps and obtain guidance on how to address them, is available only to AIM-Progress member companies. Members can access the updated tool in the Member area of the website.
